In-Home Care Services
Base Services
Standard Non-Medical In-Home Care includes basic activities of daily living (ADLs) such as personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing), light housekeeping (laundry, dishwashing, tidying up), meal preparation, grocery assistance, companionship, medication reminders (non-medical), wellness checks, and light errands.
Additional Services:
Alzheimer’s/Dementia Care
This specialized care addresses memory loss and cognitive decline. Services include engaging clients in memory-enhancing activities, redirecting wandering behavior, ensuring environmental safety, and using patient, calming communication techniques tailored for cognitive challenges.
Behavioral Monitoring
This service is designed for clients experiencing behavioral changes, anxiety, or disorientation. It includes tracking mood and behavior, using de-escalation or redirection strategies, and reporting notable patterns or concerns to the responsible party or care coordinator.
Mobility/Transfer Assistance
This involves physically assisting clients with movement, especially when equipment or specialized training is required. Examples include transferring from a bed to a wheelchair, using mobility devices such as walkers or gait belts, and preventing falls through hands-on support.
Special Diet Meal Preparation
Caregivers prepare meals according to specific health, cultural, or religious requirements. This may involve preparing diabetic-friendly meals, low-sodium dishes, heart-healthy plans, or meeting kosher, halal, or other dietary preferences.
Medication Assistance
Caregivers provide medication assistance by offering timely reminders, handing over pre-filled pill organizers, and ensuring medications are taken as prescribed. They observe for side effects, document client responses, and respect individual routines and preferences while staying within their non-medical role.
24-Hour Live-In or Rotational Care
This service is designed for clients requiring round-the-clock assistance, including those with sundowning or frequent night waking. Care is provided through rotating shifts or a live-in caregiver model to ensure safety and supervision at all hours.
